At Little Gliders, we aim to provide a seamless and transparent shopping experience. Please review our comprehensive Delivery & Returns policy below for all details regarding order processing, shipping, and returns. 

Order Confirmation Process:

Upon placing your order with Little Gliders, we will initially authorise your payment method, but rest assured, your card will not be charged immediately. Our team will then verify the availability of the product you've selected with our suppliers. Should the product be ready for immediate shipment, we will proceed with charging your card and your order will be on its way to you. In the event of any delays, such as an item being on backorder, we will cancel the pre-authorisation and notify you of the situation.

Shipping Your Order

After your order is confirmed and in stock, we will process your payment and ensure your order is dispatched within 4 business days. You will receive an email containing your tracking information within 48 hours of your order leaving our warehouse. If tracking details have not been received within 6 business days, please contact our customer support team at info@littlegliders.co.uk for assistance. Delivery schedules may vary based on the specific brand of the product ordered.

UK Mainland:
  • Standard Delivery: Free for all orders. 

For All Non-Mainland UK Deliveries (Including Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man), please contact us for a delivery quote prior to placing your order.

Inspecting Your Delivery:

Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. If the packaging appears damaged, note this with the courier and inform us within 24 hours. For furniture, all damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to report within this timeframe may prevent us from processing your return.

If you notice any damage, we recommend refusing the delivery of the damaged item(s). Should damage be discovered post-delivery, please send clear photographs of the damage to info@littlegliders.co.uk, allowing us to initiate an insurance claim on your behalf.

Someone must be available to receive your delivery. Most orders require a signature or a delivery photo for security reasons. If you choose to instruct the courier to leave your package in a safe place or with a neighbour, responsibility for the order transfers to you once the delivery is made.

  • Important: For larger items such as furniture, delivery is made to the front door of the premises only. If you live in a flat, this will be the front door of the main building. For heavier items, such as outdoor furniture, delivery may be curb-side only due to the size and weight of the order. It is your responsibility to arrange for the items to be moved from the curbside to your home.

Orders containing multiple products or products that consist of more than one parcel may arrive in separate deliveries. 

Faulty Items:

Faulty items can be returned within 30 days of receipt. Upon return, the item will be inspected, and if it is found to be faulty, we will process your refund or replacement. If no fault is found, the item will be returned to you, and a collection and re-delivery charge will apply.

Assembled Items:

Items that have been assembled cannot be returned unless faulty. We cannot provide refunds or replacements for items that have been assembled despite damage.

Missing Parts:

If parts are missing from your order, please notify us within 48 hours. We will ensure any missing components are sent to you within 30 days. Claims made after this period may not be honoured.

Cancellations & Refunds Policy:

Should you decide to cancel your order more than 24 hours after placement, be aware that additional charges may apply. For orders that have already been dispatched, the buyer is responsible for any costs incurred in returning the product. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the order.

    Final Considerations

    We make every effort to ensure that your order is processed, shipped, and delivered according to the timescales provided. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control, such as courier or supplier issues.
